Terrorism is rising, unstable/dangerous countries are getting closer and closer to nuclear weapons, and international tension and desent is rising. So I ask you, is it time for WWIII?

Couldn't have agreed with you more. once again, it comes back to religion and the "my god is better than your god" thing. i was brought up in a heavily christian society though couldn't see much sense in it. because of this, i have never had any hateful feelings towards anyone of another religion because i am not of a religion myself. the day people learn to treat others as equals, no matter where thay are from, is the day there will be no need for war ever again.

Not possible. You can't kill an ideal. Besides, by even attempting to do so, all you'd do is further their propaganda (hell, they wouldn't need propaganda if you were committing massacres).

And, as for the OP... no. WW3 might as well last for 3 hours...

As bad as things may be at this time, it would take a lot more to plunge the world into a new global war. The UN would have to collapse and communication between nations would also need to cease... and even so we would still only be getting into a global conflict. all our currents "wars" are only conflicts by modern definition
