Two basic facts relevant to you..

1) Catsup is real, Heinz visited Europe I believe France, where he discovered "Catsup", he then copied the formula, added some food coloring and labled it Ketchup, so it would sound more Amereican.

2) it is spreadable...

so in short your wrong....
Very true, I was really drunk when I posted that, so excuse the sillyness.

I don't even know why I claimed it wasn't spreadable, of course it is. I've done so myself.

I'm sorry, does he jerk off in your presence? Does he bring illegal weaponry into your shared room? Does he store his drugs in your property? Has he killed your pet and/or small child? Do you wake to find him standing over you, watching you intently as you sleep? If you answered no to all of these, Quit whining. Man doesn't like shit messing up the taste of a given food. Nothing wrong with that.

It's weird, but I used to be the same way. I never liked condiments. I only recently started eating ketchup, but mayonnaise is nasty.

I like my food nice and beige.

Allow me to answer your question with a question:

Why the hell do you care?

Seriously. Why does it matter so much to you that your friend doesn't like condiments on their food? Especially to the extent that you decide to post on an internet forum about it.
if you dont like the forum question you dont have to post anything in it...especially something to just either start an argument or something that is completely beside the point

OT: i think it is pretty wierd of him to not like condemants even though he likes pudding so, in my eyes, he's the wierd one haha

So wait, if I don't agree with the OP, I shouldn't post? Well, that's certainly going to lead to a discussion.

I'm simply pointing out that no, I don't find his roommate weird for not liking condiments (though I hardly eat anything myself without them), and that what I do find weird is the fact that he feels the need to come on to an internet forum and start a discussion about it.
yes if you dont agree with something you obviously dont like it, and like i said before if you dont like it dont post anything. People can start a thread on anything they want as long as the mods think its okay, you dont have to criticize them about it. i dont want to start an argument so im not saying anything more on this thread

Why the hell do you care?

Personally, I don't like sodas. The fizzyness is not to my liking. Many people go "Waaaaaahhhhhhhh? You don't like soda?!?!" and I say "yeah, so? I don't like soda, big woop."

If your roommate doesn't like condiments, so be it, the only real condiment I like in sandwich and stuff is ketchup (sometimes mustard if the mood strikes), so what if he doesn't like certain stuff?

You would care if every time he was in sight of you putting a condiment on ANYTHING he yelled from whatever distance 'ewwwwww' like we're fucking ten.
That is uncalled for. Tell him directly that he can eat and not eat what he likes, but you can eat and not eat what you like, and unless your food has been poisoned, he has no business bugging you.

Dude, I hate condiments like that, yet I love pudding.

Maybe I'm just weird like him but that's pretty normal to me. I hate pickles and dressings too.

If he bloody bugs you for using it, then he's odd, very odd, also, frankly if it were my roommate bugging me about using condiments, I'd have made him gtfo of my dorm, or maybe punched him, whichever's easier.

But yeah, I'd probably say that in this case, you're right, he's a textbook fruit-loop, but only because he actually bugs you for using them, if he were minding his own business about it, then you'd be the weird one.

Its abit weird, i dont like a shit load of confiments. Like if im making a ham sandwhich ill put on a bit of mayo, if its a burger sometimes i like catsup (old english spelling FTW) on it.

but to be completely opposed to it is a bit weird.

But we're all weird in our own ways.

I think he's normal, I don't like ketchup, mayo and all that other blah blah, maybe not cause of texture but taste, and when people are sitting there eating a burger and their mayo and ketchup is running all down their hands and they lick it up like they wished they were bathing in it haha.
Tho I can manage to keep it together and refrain from sounding like a ten year old haha

Buddy is normal and so are you. I personally think people find anything weird that they don't understand themselves for sure.

Good luck with the roomie, haha cheers!

Depends what you would classify as weird I guess. I used to run around the dorm dressed as a frog and my room mate would chase me down the stairs dressed as some bird... But yeah that's totally weird
