I only played it on the Xbox 360 and it wasn't very good there, or atleast I didn't think so I'm not a big fan of online shooters though so,, I'm not sure. If you are going to get it i'd suggest buying the entire Orange Box. Also, you used the wrong "Bye" (buy) in the poll. Just thought i'd point that out.

Buy the Orange Box and get it packaged with Halflife and Portal. TF2 is good, but its even better when you get a pile of great games.

Good fun, well priced in the Orange Box, runs excellently on pc, and very funny in parts.
I just got it and I can tell it's got a lot of replay value in it.
Don't expect story or cutscenes or any of that. It's just a well-made shooter with good controls and good support (it being Valve and all).
I would recommend it, but then, I'm a sucker for multiplayer shooters.

i can tell you this much, even if the game had cost 2000 dollars, it would still be your best spent money ever..

The PC version is good.. But you shouldn't buy TF2 on it's own. Get the full orange box as it's bundled with Half life 2 (and it's 2 episodes after) and the brilliant portal game. It's one HELL of a package and it's much about the price of the individual games.
Definitely worth it. Yes I agree it's smarter to buy it as part of The Orange Box, but whether you end up paying $20 or $30 (TF2 or TOB respectively) if you're into fast, furious co-operative FPS MP action, this is a VERY sound investment.
And yes get it on PC, NOT on consoles. Console development on the game died YEARS ago.

Having put in excess of 500 hours into the game, I'd say "yes". $20? I don't know. Depends on your financial situation. But if you want a good, solid shooter with lots of humor, strategy and intuitive gameplay, TF2 is the game.
worth buying lots of people use it but its recommended that you buy orange box instead, better value for money and you get 5 games
