I've notice a complete lack of PS3 marketing and product placement around here. Is it a doomed experiment that well fail soon...or perhaps has already failed.
did any one pick one up at all? Pstt, I'm the only sucker?
My theory is simple why the move well go the way of the powerglove, as a good experiment gone bad.
1) distrubtion of hardware. It has been a chore to find a second standalone controller, to control PS move games (like the fight) properly.
2) over priced hardware. If you get the move (here it is $100), and than hunt for a second controller for $60.00, your getting into the range of getting a kinetic anyhow. Sony really should have bundled both controllers with the move.
3) Games. Sony PS games kind of took a hit on graphics, and game play, and trying to nudge the Wii out of the causal market without anything really new, is just silly. (Though yes ths PS Move sprots do respond quicker and more accurate).
4) Marketing: AS mentioned marketing sucked, were Kinetic has made such a big push its impossible to ignore.
So what do you think will Move survive?
