I turned 19 today and I was just wondering if anyone else out there was as fortunate as me to be born on xmas. I realise there is as much a chance of people being born today as there was a week ago, but I don't care.

Also, do you see it as a good thing, bad thing or just don't really give a damn?

EDIT: It personally doesn't really matter to me. As a kid it never effected me becuase I got my b'day presents like 2 weeks earlier when I had a b'day party, and now I just really don't care.

I am not born on Christmas but I would image that it would put pressure on people to get extra presents for those who are. Unless like in your case when you receive presents 2 weeks prior.

I don't really care in general when my birthday is. It just tells me that I got a year older.

I would see it as a bad thing because people might send only one gift and write off both events. Or having to buy multiple gifts at once might cause them to lower their standards.

Personally, I like having a birthday in June so my presents are nicely spread throughout the year.

I was born in may. I have a friend born on the 30th and Jan 1st, but dont know anyone close actually born on Christmas.
