It seems that the children of one of the creators of Sonic 4 got their hands on the beta and recorded it. I think it looks good. It's not going to bring back Sonic though because Sonic is beyond help. But it may come out on disk and PC which means opportunities for hacking and editing. I getting it are you?

I don't think it has enough for me to judge, but from what I can see, it seems like I'm still not good enough to play a classic Sonic game.

Now that's the Sonic I remember. Glad to see that rather than a 'Hog-vampire, or whatever god awful step comes after a werehog, they went retro. That's where Sonic dominated, and that's where Sonic belongs; hopped up on 2d Speed.

I'm sticking by what I said earlier. I will wait until people I trust have said that it's good before I spend money on it, if I spend any money at all (as in not buy it, not pirate, because there's no reason why I would pirate a bad game and would want to support a game if it's actually good).

Wow, I can't believe SEGA actually pulled their heads out of their collective asses, listened to the fans, and brought back classic Sonic...

I doubt they'll ever make anything close to how good sonic3 and sonic & knuckles were. I'll wait and see what's in store for the lil dood, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I'm actually hoping that if they use old-school midi music, they'll make it as good as the early games. Metropolis, Hydro City, and Flying Battery zones were awesome.

Feh, it looks like nothing new. It's just old-school Sonic with some shiny new graphics. If I wanted to play the old Sonic games, I'd go dig them out of my game vault.

However, I can't really judge the entire game based off of less than a minute though. And in my experience the first act of each Sonic game almost always bears a heavy resemblance to the other games. So no, this hasn't really changed my opinion about the game. However my opinion is that this game will blow, so that;s not really a good thing.
