I know there are a few others so if you like the ice caverns or the final castle, post it.

My favourite is the fire temple, I think it was the best boss and the best weapon.

My least favourite is probably the water temple.... gave me a headache. (Im aware my avatar is Link in the water temple)

Why do people love this game it took them 7 years to develop and its just o.k. the franchise was great up snes then it lost something. Wind waker was by far the worst sail 20-30min so you can play an hour or two of game.

Water Temple. I liked the boss, the puzzles were really interesting, and of course, there's Dark Link.

Because it had great gameplay, excellent game design, and it was the first 3D game of an immensely successful franchise?

Not a dungeon as such, but I loved (LOVED) the ice caves. Although of the dungeons proper, it's either Spirit or Water Temples. The Spirit for it's actually very clever reflection based gameplay and the Water for sheer head bending.
TwinRova is one of my favourite bosses too, it's both funny and clever.

The Forest Temple taps into something within my soul.
I can't explain it but when I hear that music in it, it sends shivers up my spine, almost nostalgic ones even when I was first playing it. I love everything about that dungeon. The eerie misty atmosphere, the disturbing boss fight, the absolute dark greenness, all of it.

Well I have to agree with this FinalGamer here. There is something about the forest temple that just clicks with me. The other temples, once you disregard the temples you do as a child, I think tend to like equally. The best music would be from either forest of spirit temple.

Since when was Mario 64 part of the Zelda franchise?
Read the post, it's of an, not of any.

Anyway, people (like me) love Ocarina because it gets just about everything right. It's a good length, plays well and it's fun.
It's all well and good talking it down because you liked the old 2-D games more, but in a conversation specifically about Ocarina of time, what exactly are you contributing?

Fire dungeon was my favorite for "awesomeness" as far as genius in level design goes, has to be the water dungeon

Edit: LOVE the music in the fire dungeon

I would have to say that my favorite temple is the Spirit Temple. The reason it is my favorite is because of the neat reflection puzzles, and the mirror shield, my favorite shield, is in that temple. My least favorite would have to be the Water Temple, I hated that dungeon. No matter how much I played the game and had it memorized, I always got stuck in the water temple.

Ever heard the ORIGINAL music the fire dungeon was gonna have?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDcQVzu_kc8 - was a bit too Islamic so Nintendo had to change it, thought you might like to hear it.
But they did get away with using the symbols of Islam (crescent moon and star) in the Spirit Temple and on the Mirror Shield.
Hehehehe.

The Deku Tree, the only dungeon of Ocarina of time that I got to play in my days as a youngin' before my mother claimed the game for herself.

That, and when I was little, spiders freaked me right the hell out.

Yeah, I heard they were forced to remove the original music, under threats of impending legal action.

This poll reminds me of a scene in Wind Waker:

The Great Deku Tree actually says this when you first meet him, and if you dont believe me go play Wind Waker and laugh.

He says and i quote:

"There is something not right about the monsters congregating in the regions around my wood."

Couldnt stop laughing when i read this.

EDIT: And Wind Waker was one of the best games of the series. Just wanted to add that.

As much as I love all the temples, Spirit temple takes the cake. It had a great atmosphere about it. And I just loved how you got to do it as kid link and adult link.

And when you see the owl at the end of the kid link section, I was just like wtf? he's still alive?

(I probably didn't need the spoiler tag, but I just wanted to test it out.)

EDIT: How could I forget about the Iron Knuckles!? Those are my favorite enemy to fight. They just stand there and take it while you bash them. And they freaking hurt. My favorite thing to do is beat them only using my sword while taking no damage. It just feels so good.
