Im having mixed feelings about this movie.
If you have not seen the trailer for this particular film here it is.
WARNING:some of the images might be disturbing...and awesome.
Have you ever seen a movie trailer and said "Wow that is about the stupidest story I have ever heard, but everything else looks good."
That is how I feel about this movie.
The action, special effects, and cinematography look absolutely top notch, and I like every one of the actors they got.
The Dialogue seems a little stupid but its delivered well.
That part at the beginning with the Ice cream man is fucking cool, and I might see the movie just for that part.
Plus Im all for making something that's supposed to be comforting into something scary, which is why I love the Silent Hill series so much.
Angels being the bad guys sounds pretty cool, but making God the bad guy just sounds stupid.
It doesn't matter if you believe in God or not for this work of fiction, that wont come into play for this movie so don't any of you dare try and turn this into a religious argument.
In the christian religion, God is all powerful and all knowing, so If he wanted to destroy us, he could just snap his fingers and all of us would be dead, and if he knew he was going to hate what we have become he wouldn't have made the earth in the first place.
I would be kinder to the trailer if instead of God being the bad guy, maybe it was a arch angel instead, and it could have been like a second rebellion, now that would be cool.
Im not sure if anyone can make God into a bad guy, and it seem credible.
What if I turn the Prophet Buddha into a rapist, and murderer with Buddhism being a secret cult that follows his evil ways?
Sure It would be just as ballsy as their story, and It could be written by the best, but it would never fly.
Still I have to give them credit for trying, because I already know controversy is going to follow this movie like the plague (all 10 of em) and they had to already know that people would get pissed off by it.
so what do y'all think?

Why do all the angels look evil? wouldn't be more creepy if they looked majestic while murdering people.
Why do angels need guns when they have swords of holy might?
Why is it so funny to her that she doesn't own a car, what does that have to do with anything!?
