My cat started climbing on me and being adorable so I had to take some pics.

and here's some other photos taken about two weeks ago

(roomy's unimpressed cat and boyfriend in background)

This little guy is named Monty (Charles Montgomery the Third if you want his "fancy" name). Monty is about a month old and was given to me by my room mate who's brother rescued a stray litter. I had told them at first that I really didn't want a cat right now, but they brought him home to show him to me and omg how could I not keep him <3 I was a complete sucker for that obviously manipulative tactic. As a stray, he could potentially have a number of potential issues and I'm really hoping the vet bill doesn't kill my bank account. BUT LOOK AT THAT FANCY ASS MOUSTACHE! omg I love it! *rambling about cute kittens continues*

Anyway, post pictures of your cats (or other, less adorable animals) and for discussion's sake "cats or dogs?"

I am very disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm for cat pictures (cathusiasm?) at 3:00 AM EST.....
(I guess prime-time net traffic is sitting around East Asia and Australia at the moment and normal human beings don't post cat pictures at this hour : \)

Here is my dog, she is adorable:

She's a 10 year old Weimaraner, but you'd never be able to tell that she's older than 4 just by looking at her. I keep her really healthy and in great shape. She gets 3 walks a day with each walk being at least 40 minutes, and she eats better than the vast majority of humans. My dog will live forever.

Also, dogs > cats.

Can your cat bring you a beer from the fridge? No? Didn't think so.

I've not had cats for years, nor a dog for that matter. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to keep such pets just now.

Nothing against such animals as I love 'em both; but they can't hope to compete with the softness that is a Chinchilla. My girls:

Jo-Jo was sitting like that last night with her little front paws/feet/hands/whatever clasped, enjoying a good belly rub.

I refuse to vote in your poll though, as there is no 'both' option. I will not pick favourites between cats and dogs!

This one is mine. This picture was taken quite a number of years ago since she's about 14 years old now. To be honest, she hasn't changed too much except for the fact that her colouring is more dull than it once was.

Poor picture quality but she adored our old dog who passed away in early 2008.

I like rabbits. The white one is named Opehlia, the gray one is Hamlet. I also used to have hamsters named Castor, Pollux, Atalanta, Selene and Diane.

So it's a cute contest you want, eh?!

Pesky cats always in my way... I love them though.

I love him very much . He travels with me everywhere , from misty snow covered mountains to dark spooky dungeons.

Adorable , isn't he?

My old lady Lucy (short for Lucifer). She's 17 now but apart from needing thyroid pills still fit as a fiddle. She doesn't mind being deaf now. This way she can sleep in peace while noisy hoomans are trampling around her.

I actually had two of the dogs who stood portrait for your dog.

Trust me, the real ones are way more awesome :D
