Poll: Light vs Dark?

A Versus Poll that can survive on the Escapist? I wonder.

I made a turkey for Easter, and I had a discussion with my sister about what type of meat we preferred. I was definitely on the side of Dark Meat.. More fat, more flavor, and when cooked properly, infinitely more juicy.

So I implore you, Escapist.

Dark or Light?

Normally, I might say dark, but...I really don't like turkey anyway, and its dark meat just tastes odd. I'd go with light.

No, I've tried the other too. I think that just plain tasted bad.

Dark meat is good for the dinner but the light meat is good for sammiches. I prefer dark though.

I haven't tried Dark Meat yet because I always chose Light so I can't really pick anything else at that point until I actually try it out one day. I just have to get away from the habit of choosing the food I already like rather than trying out new stuff. ;(

I like em both but light has more sandwich potential; because it is more dry it can compensate for the fluidity of the condiments in a sandwich.

I'm vegetarian so

Although i do eat meat and did eat turkey today, I like light meat a lot more than dark because dark meat is icky (that's the best argument i can come up with right now)

I rarely eat turkey, have only like 4 times in my life, but apparently I like Dark Turkey.

I love turkey, I'll eat both the white and dark meat, but if the bird is exceptionally dry, I'll take the dark meat because it stays moister. Also makes great sandwiches as leftovers.

Dark is usually more juicy and has more flavor so I go with dark!!!

Bu honestly, I think I like light slightly more than dark.Really it just depends on my mood.
