Poll: Lion King 3D got released

Well I know it's the same movie released at 1994 plus I have the VHS but seeing on the Big Screen just makes it seem worth it.
I know it's a cash grab but I've spent money on stupider things before.

What about you on escapist

I have the original movie somewhere, I'm not going to pay money to see it in 3D.

I don't think I am. While I love the movie, I think 3D is a fad and not really worth wasting money on. The Lion King is fantastic as is, it doesn't need something gimmicky that will distract viewers from the story that is told in the movie. Also, it looks great on it's own, I really don't see how 3D could make it better.

Yes and no. I'm going to see it in a couple of weeks with a group of friends, but we're going to watch it at the Astor [http://www.astor-theatre.com/] (a 75-year-old cinema), and it definitely won't be in 3D.
I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun

I still have the old VHS, being 3D is not a big enough incentive for me to go see it again as much as I love that movie.

I could've sworn that they've already done that. With a title that popular it's a wonder they didn't do it earlier.
