I was wondering how many of my fellow Escapists play Magic the Gathering.
Also to add more to this thread, for those of you who have played Magic, what's your favorite flavor text and why?
I would have to go with either
Hatred outlives the hateful.
Because it's awesome, and fits the card perfectly.
OR
Masters of the arcane savor a delicious irony. Their study of deep and complex arcana leads to such a simple end: the ability to say merely yes or no.

EDIT: For those of you who don't know what Magic the Gathering is, Magic is essentially the first Trading Card Game. A notable difference between Magic and most other card games is that the cards trump the rules - if a card contradicts a rule of the game, the card overrules it. This results in a very dynamic game that has lasted for decades[sup]1[/sup].
