So it goes like this:

My wife and I were having a discussion about guys urinating in the shower. We thought we would get some input on the situation. So, guys, what are your thoughts of peeing in the shower? Thank you for your time.

I'm not sure how well respected the site is, but there are TONS other like it. Hell, Brazil even has an advertising campaign going on about it apparently.

Anyway, it does seem gross in a sense, but I do it anyway. I don't just walk into the shower and piss because that'd be nasty, but when it's on I just aim straight down the drain and make sure it's washed afterwords. Shower still clean, water is saved.

It does stain certain types of tile though because of the acids in it. Just make sure you're aiming rather than spraying and all is well.

Dont see anything wrong with it personally it all goes down the same drain, and urine is sterile unlike the other things you wash off your body in the shower.

If he has foot fungal issues, it is perfectly acceptable to piss in the shower, he pees on his feet, it kill the fungus, and it gets cleaned off all in one go.

Aside from that, though. It's not a normal thing.

It's actually hygienic - as urine has some strong anti-fungal properties - but for a shared space? No.

There's a toilet literally 2 feet away from my shower. I can just aim out of the shower if I really have to.

I've pissed in a lot of sinks in my time. But then that was just for convenience. Student housing often have basins in the room, and when you need a pee at 3:00, 2 yards to the sink is better than going to the end of the hall.

0_0 um well........I don't necessarily see it as something that is such a bad thing because........ well we guys do it from time to time and....... aw whats the point we usually just do it because were too lazy to get out of the shower once we got into it that and stepping out of the shower once your used to the water is like stepping naked out into the Antarctic and I'd rather just stay in the shower. But I don't do it that often so stop giving me those looks.

I seriously doubt it. and if it keeps coming up with crap like 'it's ystedunc'... I'll never lack anything to rage on again... not that I needed more incentive to do that or anything.

OT: I used to, as a kid. but it's kinda gross... you can was it with water but it'll still linger sometimes. that's just nasty when you realize you're standing in it. Then again, I share my shower with 5 other students, so I probably shouldn't think too much about what goes on in there (and it's not like I've never done that...) fortunately for me, 4/5 of them are too socially awkward to get laid anyway, let alone get laid with the same person often enough to take it to the shower... unfortunately, the fifth one has a boyfriend...

I try not to. It's not that it grosses me out but still, it might go down your leg or something horrifying like that.

Though I'm not a great person to ask, I always avoid peeing standing up, I sit on the toilet.

All. The. Time. Why? Part of it is the knowledge and urine is about the most sanitary thing that can come out of your body, and another part is just the sheer convenience of it.

If you aim straight down at the drain what's the problem?

It'll be washed away much better and more efficiently then any toilet. Not only is there MUCH more water washing it way, but it's also water with soap in it!

I mean I hope you're capable of not peeing all over yourself, that's really a basic skill for men. You should be able to aim it straight at the drain, it's not that much smaller then a toilet. And it ends up in the same place anyway.

So yeah, for any man capable of not missing the toilet when peeing and using some form of soap or shampoo in the shower? Totally fine, probably more hygienic then the toilet. And no problems with leaving the seat down.
