If someone has done this before I apologise for this repeat performance but if not great! I love both but I like the Manga's better because I don't have to put up with the dreaded filler episodes that Naruto are famous for in the anime series.

I have to prefer the anime form better, mostly because I like motion, but maybe thats just me.

Manga is the comic book-esque form of the media. The stories are the same but manga are books and read right to left while anime are cartoons and don't read at all.

Sorry to be wishy-washy, but it depends. Some Manga are far superior to their Anime counterparts (Tsukihime, for example), while other things just are better in Anime (EX: Busou Renkin).

Manga for me, it's much more focused on delivering a good plot because it can't rely on music or images in motion. And much is left for the reader to imagine, you can imagine how your favorite character sounds, the color of his/her shirt and stuff like that.

Agreed Mstrswrd, it depends on how it's done,there's some brilliant anime out there which is so fast paced it leaves you going; "Buh....?" On the other hand, my favourite manga, Death Note, is pretty much 90% internal monologues. Both work well in their own context.

I agree with you, but when the anime english dub comes out, you end up yelling at your TV because you envision someone better from a different dubbing company. That's why I'm not really looking forward to D.Gray-Man english dub, mainly because I think Vic Mignogna for Alan Walker would be best but they'll probably choose Greg Ayres.

A little off-topic here which do you think is worse? Anime video games or anime trading cards
or both? I personally think the anime trading cards are worse because you can get your money back from a bad anime game!

I prefer anime. I never really got into manga, and the movement, voices, and music all help add to the experience of anime.

Don't really know the difference. And I don't like either, to be honest :p

Except the original Pokémon series. Everybody loves Pokémon ;D

Umm....isn't that like asking which is better: Movies or Books?

Manga = Japanese/Eastern comics
Anime = Japanese/Eastern animation

That said, I obviously voted both. Crap & Gold alike in both forms.

In a way yes it is asking the same thing. The difference is that most movies aren't made from books while anime is 98% of the time made from a manga.

They're just as good as each other and they compliment each other so well. No need for competition.

When people think Manga & Anime are the same thing, that's when it's argument time :D

Good point! Come to think of it some animes make you appreciate the mangas(like Death Note and Naruto) and visa versa with some mangas making you appreciate the anime more(like Gundam).

It all depends on the anime/manga in question. For example, Fullmetal Alchemist was a god-awful anime, but the manga is still ongoing and is very well written, with a larger variety of characters. Anime movies, on the other hand, seem to always be much better quality than manga oneshots, but that's probably all because of directors like Hayao Miyazaki and Satoshi Kon.
