Poll: Mars or the Moon

This is simple: say at some point in the future we colonize both places, which one do you want to live on?

I vote Moon since it's so much closer to Earth and I could visit assuming space travel was refined at that time to a commuter flight.

I'd rather live on Mars. We'd be terraforming Mars into something rather Earth-like shortly after colonizing it, so I wouldn't have to worry about atmosphere leaks and the like.

I refer to The Time Machine for my view... Use of explosives on a rock that's unstable and moving away from the earth already isn't the BEST idea for colonizing. Mars is too far. Work on the hyper drive first. But that's another topic entirely.

Mars. Better conditions for life, like theres water, a more stable temprature, atmosphere. Colonizing the moon would be living under a glass dome all the time.

I'd have to say that Mars seems like it'd be more likely to be terraformed. The Moon is closer to Earth, meaning logistics/rescue would be easier, but Mars is more colourful...

I couldn't live on Mars because than I wouldn't be able to stop singing 30StM songs to myself. I seriously would not be able to stop and Bad Religion's 'fields of mars' and that 'Mars Bringer of War' song too.

So, the Moon.... although I might get some Sinatra songs stuck in my head too.
