Yes, another MW2 thread, if you don't like it, don't read on.
Also:
Massive Spoilers, so don't read on if you haven't finished the campaign or don't want it spoiled.
I just finished the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. Who did you hate more out of Makarov and Shepherd?
I think IW did a better job of setting up Shepherd to be hated more than Makarov because of the scene viewed from the perspective of Roach as he brings the intel to Shepherd at the end of the Safehouse mission only to be shot by Shepherd and being burned alive after being doused with petrol and set alight by Shepherd's cigar.
On the other hand, I felt a bit indifferent towards Makarov during the airport scene, I don't know why. Maybe because I was actively taking part in the massacre and Makarov was my comrade during the attack. Even though he shoots you at the end of the raid, it's not as cold blooded as what Shepherd later does to Roach and Ghost. Or maybe because you KNOW he is the enemy and you think that Shepherd is your ally, so it's more of a shock when he betrays you.
What do you guys think?
I told you there would be massive spoilers.
Also, so I don't start another thread, where do you think Nikolai meant when he said he knows a place?
I think it might be Pripyat/Chernobyl.
