After reading some posts and communicating with people online for a while, I got an impression that most people do not have fond memories about their high-school. I've graduated from my High-school in Kazakhstan about 3 years ago, and sure, that wasn't perfect. We had some rough times, bullying, heck, me and my class even got into a mass fight with another class once. But still, I have nothing but fond memories about that time. During those years I've met my very best friends who I'm still in contact with, even though right now I'm studying in Canada. I would be happy to relive those days. So, am I alone in that?

I honestly didn't mind high school very much. It was just kinda dull, with nothing important really happening during that time.

Not bad, not really good, just there, y'know?

You had a class VS. class school smack down?!?! Man I wish my school had one of those.

My school was boring as hell, although I did sleep through most of it so it may of had some cool moments and I just missed them.

High school was largely better for me than junior high (grade 7&8, which were held in the same school as my elementary school this included all of the scumbags that made those early years so.. fun). I wouldn't say it was particularly great or anything, but I had good friends and did some semi interesting things si it was far from a horror story.

I dropped out of High School and finished it by home schooling myself so it must surely have been a wonderfully pleasant experience.

compared to others my highschool experience was what you might call good

still hated it though....I can;t begin to describe the levels of stupid I had to put up with AND inflicted upon myself

I'm so much happyer now...though part of that is being rediculously lucky in life

EDIT: oh and fuck anyone who says it was th best time of your life....with a rusty pole

I didn't have anything against it and today I can basically just remember the good parts of it.
So couldn't have been too bad.

Yeah... no.

The only reason I survived high school was because I had nearly hit six foot by age 14. I'd have been screwed otherwise.

Second year of High School coming to a close and I have to say it's been great so far. I think I'm beginning to realize how precious the time I have right now is; the financial security, the opportunities and the friends and people I get to meet almost everyday. I will continue to enjoy it for the three years I have left :D.

High school was awesome for me because I made it awesome. I was my own man, did everything that was necessary for me to get accepted to college, participated in school activities and clubs, made lots of friends with various likes and interests, fell in love for the first time, had some girls I liked and had one that liked me back.

I just basically ignored popularity and carved my own path while in high school. It turned out great and I have a lot of fond memories.

I somewhat have fond memories of my high school years which were some of the teachers and the education. Memories with my friends and the social life in high school not so much.

I enjoyed my high school years for the most part. School itself wasn't too bad but felt sort of... unnecessary? Apart from a very select few classes most of my time spent at school was a complete waste.

Outside of school though, I had just started embracing my nerdier side. Tons of free time and very few responsibilities meant my high school years were almost entirely filled with video games and sci-fi marathons.

Hell no.
Went to a Christian school for the first few years, and if anything will turn you atheist, it is a Christian school.
The last two years weren't bad. Weren't exactly good, but weren't bad.

Holy shit, captcha. You made me laugh. That is a terribly cruel and funny joke.
I am absolutely serious, the captcha legitimately said that, I did not fake this.

I had to stop after 9th grade (Australia, I was 14) because of a chronic pain disorder. I wish I got to experience my senior years but I didn't get to. The years I did spend there were fucking horrible though. Not the school work, just the bullying and some teachers were just plain dicks and even let the bullying slide even though it was right in front of them.

I actually didn't really mind high-school. I have horrible memories of the schools before that, but high-school was ok. I wasn't by any stretch of the imagination one of the "cool" or popular kids of the class, and sure life had its ups and downs, but I had friends, I played sports, did nerdy stuff such as LAN-parties, had a cute girlfriend who did jazz-dance (smoking hot body *_*) and lived alone in my own apartment - I was young and immortal (this was almost 10 years ago). On the whole, life wasn't actually half bad.
