The Xbox one reveal really just made me hate this con artist of a company. I never liked microsoft anyway, Xbox live not worth it, why should I pay money to do things that I should have access to in the first place. Playstation treats me like a valued customer. Playstation plus is a billion times better than Xbox live.

Microsoft wants to control everything we value as entertainment, the day one patch for the Xbox one won't change a damn thing. The fact that Microsoft TRIED to screw us is enough to atleast wait it out when the thing comes out. Since they fixed it with a patch, what else could they patch in later down the road. They could bring back all the problems one at a time over time through patches.

Hell they could shut the whole thing down if they wanted to. Also the Kinect I believe still always has to be connected to the console, If not tell me but what if it breaks or you really don't want the thing. Microsoft proves they can't be trusted. Teaming up with one of the most evil twofaced corporations isn't a good move. Who wants to play only sports games on their console.

You're right. Microsoft are not our friends. But then again, neither are Sony. Or Nintendo. Or Valve. Or EA. Or Activision. Or any big company involved in the gaming business. The only difference between them is the way they try to get the money from your pockets.

Duh, even the best company isn't our friend and MS is like the worse. They all want to get our money, we need to show them that the one who provides consistent good service gets it not the ones who try to con us.

No it doesn't, you are just a walking money sign with legs and arms to them, a creature who's identity is just numerous numbers on the console's selling list. They change their marketing strategies to specifically target numbers which look similar to your numbers meaning that their numbers grow in size and wealth.

That goes for Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo, and any company for that matter.

No Sony definitely values their customers more then Microsoft. That said Sony isn't your friend either, Sony is just a lesser evil.

Well of course not. They're a company, why and how could they be some random persons friend? They exist to make money, not to care about you, the only reason they acknowledge you and the rest of us is because we have the power to take our money elsewhere, screwing them over.

Did you just miss the gluts of anti-Microsoft/Xbox One threads? Why make yet another one, especially if your views are neither new, unique or even presented interestingly?

Here's an opinion that's not as common as I'd like it to be: If you want to be treated as pleasantly as possible by a gaming company, go CD Projekt and never go back.

I've never understood the Microsoft hate, still don't. People complain about Microsoft this and that and it almost seem like a parody. Just because I'm not in Nintendos target group I dont go about hating them and complaining about all sorts of stuff.

You're taking it too seriously, just dont buy the console and stick with whatever company whos your "friend".

Of course Microsoft isn't your friend. No big corporation is your friend. There are just some corporations that are more friendly than others, and Microsoft is one of the least friendly. Do you have any idea how close Sony probably was to doing the exact same thing that Microsoft was going to do with the Xbox Done? I would guess within a hair's breath. They probably changed their minds at the last minute when they saw the mass outcry against it, figuring not doing so would put them ahead of Microsoft and boost their sales potential. Sony doesn't care about you any more than Microsoft does.

Why would a massive company like Microsoft or any other company want to be your friend the soon you lean all company's want is money the better.

Oh, and you have to pay for the PSN on the PS4 now, so I guess PS Plus isn't going to a billion times better for much longer.
