Alright below me is a portion of an idea for what I think would be a good game, if you don't want to read it then just answer me this, what ideas for a game do you have?

The year is 2150, after a series of cataclysmic disasters,(world war, famine, drought, plagues, etc) all major national governments have ceased to exist. World trade has collapsed, and modern communication has been reduced to it's basics, meaning short wave radio. Large cities all over the globe have been turned into armored fortresses with each one fighting one another for food, water, technology, and land. Within these cities a modern feudalistic society has been created. With most people being lowly peasants who farm to support the upper class of soldiers and governors.

Now you are one of the lucky ones who is viewed as strong enough to join the ranks of the army of what was the city of West Chicago. You are currently involved in a war with East Chicago for the limited land suitable for farming. During a scouting mission near East Chicago for supplies, you recieve an emergency short wave transmission from West Chicago telling anyone outside of the city walls to not come back as it has finally been captured by East Chicago. You and your team are also told to meet with any remaining forces in the remains of the town of Evanton, just north of Chicago. From there you plan to sail north along the coast to Milwaukee and hope that they will take you in.

Upon arriving in Milwaukee your team is shot at and you make a hasty retreat. With your resources dwindling you find some of the farmers outside the walls and attempt to find out why they were fired upon. As it turns out East Chicago (now just known as Chicago) has managed to set up a postal service between Milwaukee along the remains of Interstate 94. With this communication Chicago managed to tell Milwaukee that any wanderers are from West Chicago and are enemies of Chicago. From these same farmers you also learn that Minneapolis is believed to still be in existence and is taking in refugees. From here you and your team can either kill the farmers and take their food to replenish your supplies or attempt to scavagenge along your way to Minneapolis.

The rest of the game would take place on the long journey to Minneapolis passing through hostile towns and whatever else apocolyptic Wisconsin has in store. The gameplay would either be a FPS with some characteristics of an RPG with decisions on how to get to safety mostly linear, or completely third person RPG with decisions on how to get to safety being completely up to you. You would also have companions with you who you would have to make sure get enough food, water, and medical care or they would die.
