Probably almost every FPS fan knows what call of duty is. It seems like the call of duty series is declining in fans of the series. Do you think it will sell as well as it used to?

Hard to say. Interest certainly seems to be waning, but then the same could have been said for Black Ops. It also depends on how successful Battlefield 3 is, since EA is doing it's damndest to put it in direct competition with Call of Duty.

in mw2 people complained about snipers and grenade launchers so in mw3 they made a grenade launcher sniper lol check out the vid

Well, even though IW has been letting me down as of recent, I am pretty sure that sledgehammer is going to do a far better job of dissapointing me.

I think most people liked the last game so I don't see why they wouldn't buy the next game so I expect pretty good sales. Maybe less if people were disappointed with the last one or more if they manage to market it well.

They won't. The people that are at sledgehammer are bad. Nothing else. They are just bad at what they do.

It'll do better. Heck, look at everyone whining about how Black Ops sucked, and it still sold better than MW2, in both the first day and long run. It might face a little competition in sales from Battlefield 3 and halo Anniversary, but I'll eat my hat if it doesn't sell more than Black ops, and put another billion USD in Activison funds.

Oh it will sell like hell alright. But quality wise? I can't say. I think MW2 was a mess next to MW1. Of course I only judge by single-player.
