Poll: Monster or a freak?!

G'Day to the awesome Escapist community.

I have been wondering and pondering for a few minutes now what the most awesome/Vintage and 'bad-ass' monster would be. I came up with absolutely nothing, I just couldn't pick. I'm into a phase of dragons, Minataurs, 3-headed wolves and other made up organisms like those.

Now that I think about it...Maybe a 3-headed dragon bred with a kraken would be quite amusing and kick-ass.

Okay, so my question is stated below;
What monster would you think to be the most scariest, amusing, destructive etc,. The monster could be a hybrid, inbred or whatever you feel like to say- Hell, you could even say "A chicken bred with a scorpion". Just remember to state why its so cool and what extraordinary powers it has. ZAP!!!

I've always been a fan of Wyverns and Chimeras. Neither may be the most badass monster on the block, but they both are pretty badass nonetheless. The Jersey Devil should get some consideration as well.

One of the most badass looking beasts ever. That thing's like a cross between a panther and giant asskicking beast. You can't tell it from the picture, but the tail is actually like a spiked mace when it gets angry.

Scariest creature would probably be something along the lines of Queen Ghoma or King Dodongo from Ocarina of Time , I've posted a video below for both, but imagine it if both were a little bigger and look more realistic.


The sound for Queen Gohma is choppy but it was the best unhacked one I could find.

Yeah, the Kraken is probably the most terrifying monster in my opinion. See, you can see a dragon coming. You hear it's roar, you see it flying in from the distance. You're aware of it's presence. With the Kraken, you don't know it's there until it's already wrapping it's tentacles around your entire ship. And then it drags you down into the murky abyss. That's both awesome and terrifying.

I think technically King Ghidorah is an alien or "Astro-Monster", but for all intents and purposes is a Space Dragon.
