Err Hi there, First time poster long time lurker.

I made an account solely for this, sort of just letting it out to help myself.

I just watched what must be the most gruesome gory realistic and uncensored movie ever made. It is set 1944 in a Japanese human experiment lab called Unit 731, it shows both real footage of vivisection taken from the lab as well as the most horrifying footage of any movie ever made.

SAW, Final Destination, Hostel ect, they all are Alvin and the Chipmunks compared to this.

Me only being 15 and having no real experience of horror movies before this have been having some pretty bad nightmares and have had trouble for a while now, THIS IS A GOOD MOVIE DONT GET ME WRONG. I forced myself to watch it, it contains things that would get me banished from any site on the interwebs.

I am not sure why a wrote this, well because it is here I might as well make it a topic: what do you think of it?

Here is a summary of the scenes from the entire movie (note NO PICTURES OR CLIPS THANK GOD)

I'll definitely never watch this movie. From the reviews I've read, it's supposed to have a documentary vibe to it apparently, which made me decide initially to not even attempt to see it. I don't need to watch staged scenarios of people getting murdered/tortured to understand the things that apparently took place at this Unit 731. Also, 4 hours long? No. Just, no. I never liked movies that use gore as their main seller. It's not entertainment to me. Seeing people getting tortured is terribly unappealing to me. Also, the quality looks shit. I saw a trailer. No thank you. When I watch a movie, I don't like to end up wanting to throw up every 5 minutes throughout the film. (Which is why I'll never watch Twilight.) I honestly don't know how people COULD enjoy watching something like this, but that's all just my opinion. Hopefully I conveyed it without coming across as offensive. I have a tendency to be a douche, haha.

Unit 731. Boy, where do we begin.

It was a bio-chemical "research" facility set up during the second world war to experiment different ways to kill and torture people. Some of these included -
Vivisection without anesthesia, amputation to study blood loss, removal of organs to find the effect on the human body, hung upside down to see how long the person would take to choke to death, etc. The victims included children and pregnant women.
This is, hands down, the most atrocious, sadistic, and disturbing war crime ever committed, in my eyes.

Worst part of this - the U.S. government knew about this incident, and covered up the entire thing, in exchange for the results on the "medical" data. And the guy behind it all - Shiro Ishii - was never prosecuted for his war crimes. Instead, he was offered immunity and died a natural death at age 67.

No disrespect to the American soldiers who sacrificed themselves; they shall always be remembered. They truly were heroes. But the government back then? Fuck them.

Want to argue with someone about the existence of God? Tell them about this and watch their faith melt away.

OT: I don't like the idea of making a movie on this topic. I wouldn't say that it should be banned, but there are better ways of letting people know of the incident.
Information is more important than executing a few fucked up Japanese nutcases.

None of the Nazi scientists were prosecuted either. Wernher von Braun, the guy who designed and built the V-2, is basically the father of the space program.

You're a troll. There's no defending or justifying this sort of crap.
Not at all. Not even defending it, just stating why it was done.
