I enjoy multiplayer games quite a bit. I feel that cooperative multiplayer is a fun experience of working as a team to fight off developer-made challenges. And I also enjoy the intensity of competing against other people for victory.
Whst's your preference when it comes to multiplayer games, competitive or co-op?

P.S. I did not add an "I like both equally" choice in the poll because most people because I was afraid most people would choose that rather rather than have to pick one or the other.

Competitive for sure.

Main reason I play multiplayer games more than single player is because you're not fighting A.I. With real people tactics can change constantly, new things will happen every game and as you progress, so do other people.
A games lifespan will last forever because there won't come a point where you can kill everything on the highest difficulty in your sleep.

Also, there's still co-op in competitive team games.

I like co-op better, but rarly do you get a game that actually needs coop strats outside enemies there, kill all they ass. That and the sheer amount of retardation you find from players online. But id still take a good coop over compet anytime, *glee BF3 coop mode*

Co-op, it's just not done enough nowadays. It is so much more satisfying to work with someone to accomplish a task that neither could do alone.

I prefer coop, because competitive multiplayer tends to devolve into specific tactics. YOu all get down your strategy for maps, a path to follow, guns to use, if it has perks, a specific build is always considered best, you never deviate or change tactics because there's never a need to.

....Okay, so that's kinda an issue with multiplayer in general. So I'll just say I find coop more fun >.>

Co-op, all the way. I'll play damn near anything with a reasonable co-op setup, even if the game itself isn't that good; friends make everything better, after all.

Bad games can be kind of like bad movies in that way.
