I have to say that i love the 80's the most with bands like Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Alphaville, New Order and many others. Then i also like the 60's and 50's very much. I was just wondering what everyone here likes.
Thanks

gonna say 00's, just for the amount of musicians and artists I like from the past 10 years, though I do love bands from all the other decades

60s

This shouldn't even be a question.

The 60s gave us The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who.

You can't argue with that.

You mispelled Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Early Pink Floyd.

That being said, the Seventies were pretty much the 60's but with more gain and cooler.

I always say that they stopped making good music when I was born. So yes, 60s through 80s is the definitive period for good music.

Every decade has its horrors and glories, but 90's pop music takes the cake for being absolutely terrible.

Noughties because they've got the vast majority (read: practically all) of the music I listen to.

Definitely 70s. It's like the 60s only better. Also, people stopped using LSD as their drug of choice and started using cocaine, which gave the music that little kick that the 60s just doesn't have!
