So...are we doing genres, or actual games? Because I'm open to all genres--although I don't think I will ever touch another sports game--but I know a few games that I would never play.

Hatred.
God of War series.
Grand Theft Auto series.

Noticing a pattern?

Several genres fit the description of things I don't care about, but perhaps the biggest one I won't go near is MOBAs, they just seem like a perfect blend of every convention of Multiplayer PvP and Real Time Strategy that I dislike... I enjoy PvP in games where there's lasting consequence, like you take over a territory and it's yours until someone else takes it, there's no arbitrary win scenario, time limit, or instance reset. I can't stand trying to perpetually renew my strategy to achieve the same result over and over on the same maps. Likewise for Strategy I prefer games that aren't focused on twitch or speed, where it's more about tactical choice and base management that isn't a nail-biting race against a clock. I don't really have any interest in Tower Defense games for the same reasons, they seem like RTS distilled of whatever elements I may have actually liked.

I'll give any game a chance. If you've never played a game with your own two hands, you're not entitled to discuss it at any length.

See I disagree here. If I know that peanuts make me sick, there is no reason that I should have to try every single food item with peanuts in it to say that I won't eat them

I can think of a few.

Job simulators (specifically farming and train sims) I just don't see the appeal at all.

The FF7 remake. I consider the original to be massively overrated so why would I ever care about the new version?

Crackdown, the entire franchise past and future for all time. Number 2 is one of the VERY few games I regret spending money on. That's $20 I'll never see again. Game had no plot whatsoever. It barely had a premise.

Animal Crossing. Like the job simulators I just don't understand the appeal.

But that knowledge would be based on fact, not opinion.

I hope that I don't get any hate for this, but basically every current RTS.

I got nothing against the genre, but I have never come across one that I was even the slightest bit interested; not even EVE Online or StarCraft.

I dont particularly enjoy Sports games considering you could just go outside and play a Sport for recreational fun instead of thinking you're in the NFL, NBA or NHL. I dont particularly enjoy simulators too much either. I also have a real bad distaste for MOBA games, and I've never been to much of an MMORPG person. That may or may not cover it all.

I'm gonna say that where your personal spending money is involved, looking the game over and deciding it's not worth your time is an educated decision based in empyrical analysis. So, you can make a GOOD opinion in regards to "I would not want to play a Barbie game, not ever even if I was starving for entertainment.". Some things, you just know.

This reasoning also works, as it is largely my reason for no sports games. Only ones I play are weird ones that do not exist in the human dimension. (I use to play Mutant League Football.)
