Poll: Now that we have an Ocarina of Time remake, do you think Nintendo is working on Majora's Mask?

I just gotta ask. I mean what's one without the other? It's like ketchup without mustard; a burger without buns; Batman without the Joker (I love him more than I do the Dark Knight, I guess I just love comic book characters that are insane); or Pokémon Red without Pokémon Blue! Those two games go hand in hand and I loved Majora's Mask, a little bit more than I do OoT. It's just the fear of it all i can still hear the words,"three days...three days..."in my head.... I mean if Nintendo is going to he remaking some of their old franchises titles they might as well put MM on that list, right? I just want more Legend of Zelda games without resorting to my actual Wii. Because it's a hassle, like when they announced Skyward Sword I was all,"YEAH!!!," but then I was all,"awww...,"because that means I have to use my Wii. Anyway, whaddya think? Are we in store for Majora's Mask reboot? If not, what do you think Nintendo is doing behind the curtains...(I hope it's a remake of Oracle of Ages and Seasons and not available on the virtual console, or at least a series of games that explains the transition between each Zelda title)

Not likely, Majora's isn't nearly as popular as Ocarina, and not to mention that part of the reason Ocarina was remade was because of the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of the franchise.

So Majora's Mask isn't special? I thought was special, I could be a fishman that uses a guitar made from fish...bones... and guts for the strings maybe...

What about the Oracle games? What's your thought on those?

Ocarina of Time was quintessential Zelda, which was great. I love the game and...well...look at my username.

...but Majora's Mask was so weird and different. It was the best kind of direction for Nintendo to take the series after the success of Ocarina, I think.

A remake would be cool I guess. I don't currently think the 3DS is worth owning right now and I'm not sure if I'd pick up any Zelda remakes. Sure, OOT looks brilliant remade but I replayed both N64 Zelda's a few months back.

Probably because otherwise they'd have to actually think up a new game.

Oh come on, you were all thinking that for a second!

Whose tlozoot? I remember Majora's Mask fondly, but I played (watched it actually) at my cousins' house when I was 5 so my memory is very foggy. All I remember is a Giant two legged scrub, the couple from OoT own a bomb shop, there's a blind version of Link that kicks ass, and you could become a Zora and a Goron. That's all I got.

We can only hope they are, MM was great. That said, I'm glad they decided to reboot OoT in line with the 25th and if that's the only reboot they touch then I'm fine with it, OoT has to be one of the greatest and most influential games I have had the pleasure of playng

I would like that, I love that game. But I don't think that's going to happen.

The two legged giant 'deku scrub' is probably one of the giants. I just loved how all the inhabitants were on their own little rota. When I got the game I had a dodgy expansion pack (N64 needed it to play the game) and the game froze whenever I left Clock Town. This reulted in me just staying in Clock Town for a week while a decent pack was delivered and I got to know everyone's timetable. Oh the games and stories I made up...

As for my name...cookie to whoever gets it. It's really quite obvious. ;D

TLOZOOT=The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I'd prefer chocolate chip :D

OT: I hope they are. That would push me over the edge to buy a 3DS.

Maybe, maybe not. I just wish they'd release these versions on the Wii (or Project Cafe). They aren't the kind of games I want to play on a handheld.

In my opinion MM has not aged as well as OoT, and OoT is widely believed to be the best/most popular zelda game, I doubt they will do them both.

Well, It is possible, though, its the (undeserved) black sheep of the series; also, Nintendo could be working on the software lineup for the Wii U.

But, in my opinion:

Where the FLYING FUCK is my Xenoblades and The Last Story NTSC Port?!?!

How is The Last Story not Final Fantasy I mean look at this

Final=The Last
Fantasy=story

It's like Square was at the drawing board and went,"alright whaddya got?,"
,"Uh,um,uhhhh,gimme a second,Uh,ummmm, the last story!"
,"...Brilliant!"

OT: I never thought it as the black sheep I thought it was the one that got overshadowed by the big brother. If I can't get MM how about WW? Or y'know what? Show me Wind Waker but to where it looks like Ocarina of Time, I don't want the game but I wanna see what it'll look like.

Uuh, maybe.
I don't really care though. I liked OoT, but I never had fun with Majoras Mask. Always hated games that have a time limit. Even if you can rewind the time(and reset everything x<) I'll still be stressed out and unable to enjoy the game.

Though to be fair I never really gave the game a chance. Most of my experience is from watching a friend play it.

Majora's Mask was always my favourite Zelda game, maybe because it was darker than most of the others.

Anyway I hope they're making a remake of it, but I can still play it on my Gamecube (I got it on a compilation disc with WW).

I always thought the time limit was like the distance counter in inFamous 2, it only got shorter after you finished that sequence of the game. Plus I imagine the whole three days to win kinda ruins the exploration half of the game.
