Poll: Opinions of redheads

Being one of the proud bearers of flaming locks, I wondered how many others there were lurking around Escapist, and what people think of the greatest hair colour in the world.

Eh, I haven't met many natural redheads. Can't even remember if one of my friends is a natural... she might be, but dyed her hair...
I don't hate them. Some shades can look rather nice.
I just dyed my hair red last night. I like it this colour, although I wanted to dye it pink.

one thing though, to be redhead, you hair has to be RED, I mean Marcia Cross, Rupert Grint or Kirsten Dunst in spiderman red. Conan O'brien and Lisa Foiles do not count, their hair is brown, not brunette either just brown

Why can't I hate them while being one? As a dude, I've never found female redheads attractive. The hottest one I can think of is Isla Fisher who doesn't even float my boat.

I think it's cause all redheads look alike and therefore remind me of my sister.

Due to the wonderful world of GENETICS! my (black) hair has this odd reddish tint in sunlight especially compared to my mothers. My brother has it worse with a small patch of skin on his head that grows red hair, which is really noticeable after his haircut.

I'm not going to vote, because I am impartial. It really depends on the person, the shade of red, natural or not, etc etc.

Frankly I adore redheads, be they male or female, as guys, I find them to be cool looking, on girls, I'm just frikkin in love with them xD..Sadly my hair is just a standard brownish black, so plain v.v. I do dye it red from time to time but I havn't since I got out of high school.

Your poll opinions are kinda restricting... I'd prefer a neutral option.

But I don't get whats up with red head hatred... It just color of hair.. It is nothing defined who or what you are. My French horn teacher is red head, she also has heterochromia on her eyes.
She is the nicest person ever. SO I don't get it why people hate red heads?

Why don't people hate black haired people or blonds, I am blond, I have never colored my hair or never will.

But if I need to choose the most pleasing color asthetically, I'd choose brunet on women and black dark on males.

I prefer it on women, preferably with long straight hair. If I liked girls, Id like that. Shirley Manson (Garbage) and Kate Pierson (B-52s) I find attractive.
Not a big fan of it on guys, but maybe thats because I dont usually see good haircuts on guys with red hair.
