Poll: Planetside 2 is coming, How do you feel about this?

Poll/discussion. Trailer is out for Planetside 2. It's not much to look at yet, but it's certainly a start.

Looks really generic, scratched my head as too why some of the guns are shooting lasers and bullets at the same time. Kind of amazed they're making a second one when the first wasn't that successful/well received.

How do I feel? To be honest, rather "meh".

I do like the idea of an MMO with non-boring gameplay. But then they had to go and make it FPS gameplay. Yeesh. I have nothing inherently against FPSs, but I've played a lot of them. These days they have to do something pretty bloody special to get so much as a second of my attention.

Also, the visual design looks boring. Within 24 hours I will have forgotten every single thing I saw in that trailer beyond the fact that there were some men firing guns.

If they offer a free trial or some such then I may give it a brief look. If they're going to ask for a subscription then I won't even bother.
