Poll: Poke-cheat

The first day a new Pokemon game comes out, I buy it, (yeah, I'm a fanboy) play it for a while, pick my starter, then level it up to 8 or 9 before turning it off. That's about all I can do in the time given. Then tomorrow I go to school, and see that everyone else who has the game has a party that consists of all the legendaries in the game, a few legendaries not in the game, and they're all level 100. That's almost a physical impossibility unless they cheat. I don't think it's a moral or ethical issue, I just want to know if anybody doesn't cheat. So, do you?

Well, I take no issue in trading people on line for the legendaries that those bastards who created the game force you to get through events or by going to some convention... But I much prefer to get those pokemon at normal/lower than normal level so I can level them up myself. What's the fun in getting something already suped up?

I don't, but I have a friend that cheats just for giggles.
He beat the Elite Four not by fighting them, but by capturing all their pokemon.
Good times...

I never cheat on my first playthrough, and usually not my second. I like that feeling of every battle being at least somewhat of a challenge, and it's a blast sweating out the Elite 4.

But yeah, once the game's old and I'm on my 4th or 5th playthrough, I'll just cheat and get my favorite Pokemon, level them up to like 70, then make my own story up in my mind as I go along.

So far i haven't had the Chance to Cheat but i don't think i ever will.

I actually enjoy LV Grinding Pokemon and going after the Legendarys.

Guess its cuz i missed it during my childhood.

Don't need to cheat, the games are always piss easy. I sometimes do it for the "lulz" though

I'm going to sound noobish but I just found out days ago you can cheat at pokemon, I got alittle mad at it and game cheating all around. I can't play a game anywhere with out someone telling me about a Hack, a Glitch or an exploit. I was soooooooo against it

Having beaten several Pokemon games without cheating I feel no shame in cheating in the games now.

What I usually do is, at the very beginning of the game, use a game shark or action replay to create my ultimate party (I.E. my favorite Pokemon while covering as many element types as possible). I catch them all in the starting town so they will all be level 3-4 and then I play the rest of the game normally.

You don't even need to cheat for that, just know a couple of tricks...

I don't cheat on Pokemon. But a lot of the times I can't find people who have event only pokemon so my pokedex is usually full of holes

I once used a cheat to get all LVL 5 of my favorite Pokemon at the start of the game to build my dream team. I've never had so much fun in one playthrough.

Mostly, I only use cheats to get something like infinite money. And that's about it.

About generating pokémons with that PokéSav thing, I would do that, if I had a base of theirs status at level 1 or something, so then they could look 'legit'. But I looked around the nets but never found me such base D=

And mind you that I never take part of competitions. I just want my pokédex full XD After all, how on Earth I'm going to get a Mew or Celebii? I don't have patience for global trading >.<

I dont call "trading your legendaries from a previous pokemon game" cheating.

But if thats what you mean by cheating then yeah ive done it probably once or twice
