In any game there's always that one weapon that sets itself apart from the rest. If your favorite is not on the list just write in the reply.

For me my favorite weapon is the crossbow from Half-Life 2. Yeah its only single shot, but it kills almost anything in one hit and its always satisfying nailing a Combine to a wall.

Yeah this thread's been done a lot, and the choice is pretty limited... Of the selection I'd have to say the Lancer because it's immensely satisfying when you rake it up a guy's back i.e - the Chainsodomy. Which isn't totally homo-erotic and whatever...

But really, my favourite weapon to use is CoD4's AK47.

But, yeah, definitely going to say sticking someone has always been a blast. I love me some BFG, too, but you don't often hear people related their best "across the room BFG-ing" to friends. Sticking someone? Yeah, heard that before.

I just gotta go with the Gravity Gun. I had so much fun with that thing, I still find it funny seeing heavily armed soldiers falling helplessly to the almighty power of launched wooden crates.

And lets not forget the immense satifaction of a Half Life 2: Deathmatch toilet-to-the-face kill.

Too bad that game is plagued by "grenade launcher" spammers. You shouldn't spawn with grenades in my opinion (sorry for getting off track).

Samus' Arm Cannon. Though from that list, the Gravity Gun. Over the course of the series, I did not care much for it as I prefered simple blasistic weapons. Though last night, I finally played HL2:E2, and the final fight with the gravity gun and the strider buster things were about as epic of a fight as my crappy computer could handle without lagging or crashing, even on minimum settings.
