Let's say you are in a small city, that has Super stores(Wal-Mart, Target, ect.), Restaurants, malls, sporting goods stores, hotels, city hall, library, gas stations, factory's, car dealerships, and many houses . Then a virus outbreak happens and you are one of the few to be immune to the airborne virus, but not the one spread by contact or eating infected food or drinking infected water. It has been a month before you have to leave your house because you have no more supplies. What would you first course of action?

For this situation, lets say you have a significant other with you, two friends, and a dog.You also have an SUV with a full tank of gas, and a spare. You also have one pistol with one clip of 10 9mm rounds, and a shotgun with 10 12 gauge rounds.

Because this sounds like its a) in america
b) everyone else is dead.

Therefore, go to the coast and find a forest or something.
most valuable skill: general survival skills i.e making shelter, finding food, etc

This, if you are determined, you can learn any skill, you can get yourself into shape to tackle the world living off old food in two weeks, but if you don't persist and make yourself a survivor, then none of those will help.

First thing: get food and fresh water, that is not contaminated. Look for survivors and anti-virals, and even survivors who know of anti-virals. Then you pretty much sing Stayin' Alive and carry on once it has cleared up.
