So, being the sucker for artsy games that I am I naturally loaded my PSN account in anticipation for Journey.
Now, the thing is, where I live the PS Store isn't even supported (thank you Sony) so everyone here has UK accounts. What that means is that we can't even charge them with credit cards for whatever reason. So everyone here buys pre-paid cards. So far so good.Pound to leva(my currency) makes everything ludicrously pricey but I can live with it. The problem I have is that for some inexplicable reason they only have 25£ ones anywhere D: So I swallowed the fact that for that I paid more than I would have to pay for a full retail title (Damn you ThatGameCompany!) and took it. Seeing as Journey is 9.99£ I still have 15(.5-from before :p)£ left. So what should I buy?

I really haven't checked the PSN in a long time, so I have no idea. Anything that's on PC too is out since I probably already own it or can get it cheaper.
I was thinking of getting the Oddworld HD version of Stranger's Wrath, seeing as I have never played it before. Other than that, Dead Space: Extraction looks good :p

tl;dr version- what do you think I should buy for a 15£ or under PSN title?
(if you have a 10+5 2 game combo- even better :D)

Just so you know, Stranger's Wrath is available on PC as well.

In any case, if you're into 2D fighters, Skullgirls comes out (most likely) later this month. Although no exact price has been announced yet, I'd say something along the lines of 10-15GBP is probable.

@bahumat42
yeah, I have played through all of those (Orcs must die! was my favourite :D) minus skydrift but its not really my thing.

@Smertnik
huh, didn't know that, it certainly changes a lot, since I definitely prefer to play such games on PC.
hmmm
Not that big on 2D fighters (or fighters in general) but if it seems good I'll consider it.

Overall, I guess I'll just keep them and wait for something new that's worth it :D
Know any cool console exclusive titles for this year?
Do HD remakes ever get a discount? Maybe I could pick one of those up down the line?
I was thinking of buying Infamous 2 sometimes later this year, is the Vampire DLC worth it?
SO MAHNY KVESTIONZ D:

Have you played Trine and Trine 2? Those are some terrific games. I'm pretty sure they have demos too (they do on PC), so you might want to try them out if you haven't already. They're beautiful (it's impossible to overstate how beautiful) action/puzzle/platformers where you control a thief, a wizard, and a knight.

Also good/great:
- Limbo
- Bastion
- Rochard
- Silent Hill 1 (PS1 download)
- Costume Quest
- Hamilton's Great Adventure (if you like puzzle games)
- Rock of Ages

I've also heard that Outland is really good, but I haven't played it personally.

Well, there's Lollipop Chainsaw if you're into Goichi Suda's stuff. And Jet Grind Radio gets re-released.

@Looking Glass

Played all of those :D
both Trine games were played as they were meant to- on a big ass screen, hooked to the PC, with friends :) (They really are amazing lookers)
Actually, I haven't completed Costume Quest but it didn't grab me the first time I played it so... doubtful.
Also Rock of Ages... lol As much as I adored the Monthy Python-esque cutscenes I never bothered to finish it either...

@Smertnik
Not really interested in either of those,sorry :(
Thanks for the input though.

Outland is definitely my top pick for now, had forgotten about it. The co-op is also a plus.
This has made me realise how many games I have actually played through in the last year.
I need to get out more. *says as he glances in shame at his Diablo Beta shortcut put neatly between that of Starcraft an LoL*
Bah, who am I kidding. I'll probably never see the light of day for a week after Guild Wars 2 anyways :D

Why do I have this worrying tendency to make my posts overly long and drab.
Oh and last thing:

DO NOT INCLUDE TITLES THAT ARE ALSO ON PC
chances are I've already played them and if I haven', then I would just buy them for PC anyways.

I can't recommend the good ol' Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games enough!

They're not artsy or anything like that but damn are they some fun classics.

Captcha: Campbell's soup?

The captchas are now ads too?
