I'm already assuming that most people will so no to buying a PspGo because of the high price($250) but my question is if the price was dropped to a more reasonable one, say in line with a Nintendo DSi ($200) would you buy it? Personally I would just because I always have to have then new thing and although it seems gimmicky it still looks pretty.

Edit: Please give a reason do not just vote without saying why.

I was considering getting a GO! for the whole convenience factor. I would still have and buy UMD's and just convert them over to digital. I'd keep them and my 2000 as back ups and use my Go! for the sheer convenience of being able to play whatever on the road without UMD's. It's a solid plan, but then two big factors threw a wrench into my motives; the price and Sony's dick move to change storage formats.

250 is just too pricey for me, I know if you do the number crunching you will find that it really should be that price but not for me. UMD drives may be costly in some peoples eyes, but it's most likely cheaper than a 16 gig memory stick which is really expensive. 16 gigs of flash memory is pretty much what constitutes that 50+ dollar price jack for the Go! seeing as 16 gigs of internal memory is no different.

I was gonna wait till it would drop to 200 bucks or something, THEN came snag number 2. WHY did Sony switch over to memory stick micro!? I know the system is smaller an all, but seriously, don't make my pro duo sticks obsolete! you could have easily fit the pro duo slot in instead of converting to memory stick micro. I would have liked to use my 8 gig pro duo thank you Sony, I know the system is for people who don't already own a system, but this is a slap in the face for upgraders forcing them to buy a whole new storage medium. I know I have more than 16 gigs worth of games, so this format switch makes my pro duos useless for this version.

In all honesty I am just caught in the middle, i wont lose any sleep over not having one, but I was willing to upgrade. Sony on the other hand threw 2 major snags that result in spending more money than I should be spending. So I'll stay on the fence for now with this one, or until my 2000 decides to die.

High price? What the hell are people complaining about? When the first PSP was launched it cost the same! I'm not getting it, but I may pick up one of the original ones.
