I've been to the theaters lately and saw what I considered to be an awesome work of cinematography; Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
However, I've been hearing lots of negative feedback from fans of the book series about how the makers screwed up so much during filming that it was a complete betrayal. I personally have never read the books, and so have no idea what they're talking about.
Still, I'd like to hear your thoughts regarding the movie (if you've seen it or have plans to) and if you're a fan of the books. No flaming please, let's keep this discussion civilized, alright?
