Poll: Red or Blue Pill

What would you choose, and why?

Keep in mind: In this scenario you already know all about The Matrix and how it operates.

You take the Blue pill, and you continue your life as it currently is.

You take the Red pill, and you "wake up" in the real world, alongside Morpheus, Neo, etc...


To start off, I would choose the Blue pill, because I don't feel like knowing the truth is worth it to live the way the "freed" do.

I checked, and I'm surprised this hasn't been posted before. (unless someone proves me wrong)

Disclaimer: I realize, those who haven't watched "The Matrix" will most likely be left out... sorry.

EDIT: I fixed the options, the Pills are now correct... Consider it a "glitch"

You say the Red pill will make you "stay in the Matrix", and yet you say further down that if you take the Red pill, "you "wake up in the real world, alongside Morpheus, Neo, etc..."

Of course, having seen the Matrix, I'm saying blue.

Your poll says Blue (freedom) and Red (stay), I thought Red was freedom? Haven't seen the movie in ages, and your post does suggest that.

Personally I'd totally go for Red (freedom) if I could have Neo's kind of Matrix-manipulatory supapowas. Then again, I'm not The One.

I'd hate to lose my life as it is now, but once I'd entertained the idea of a "truth" that I can't find without taking the red pill, I'd have to go with red. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I allowed myself to be ignorant.

Besides, I could never refuse anyone who offered me a pill that would free my mind. The last time someone offered me one of those, I quite enjoyed it.
