Red Steel 2 launches next week. Who's picking it up?

I've got it pre-ordered myself. Next week's going to kick ass!

Red Steel 1 was too much of a let down for me.

I could not finish the game because of the god damn sword fights, how hard is it to drop my broken sword and wield a gosh darn pistol! *block* *double tap* *done*

really doesn't stand out for me. xbox has given me my fill of shooters, and im not shelling out the extra cash for a motion plus. im just waiting patiently for galaxy 2! =D

Did you know that this game requires Motion+? The sword fighting is apparently much-improved. Plus, the gun slinging is improved as well with Conduit-style customization.

I'm with you. Red Steel 1 was so promising before launch and once I got it, it was decent. But the sword fights. THe thing I looked forward to the most was what I liked least about the game.
This does look good though. I'm going to keep my eyes on it and see what the reviews say before I buy it.

Well, that's not the entire point of it for me.

Red Steel 1 looked just as promising as Red Steel 2 does, and I don't wanna get shanked if it sucks. I'll probably wait a while, and if it turns out good I'll pick it up, but for right now I'm staying away until I know it ain't radioactive if you understand what I'm saying.

Although it does look like they actually tried with the graphcs for this.

Not that you'll be able to play it in a resolution any higher than 800 x 600.

OT: Sold my Wii yonks ago, useless little thing. Red Steel was the only half decent game I had for it, and it was hardly amazing.

Yeah, not right away though, just god bf:bc2 and metro 2033 looks good as well

Yeah I'll probably get it but doubt it'll be on launch day.Looks to be a massive improvement on the first from what I've seen.Strange that there's no reviews yet though considering it's out so soon
