Poll: Republic or Empire, Which side would you pick?

This is in relation to Biowares mmo in making, The Old Republic and I was just wondering which side would the educated gamers such as yourselves would favor.

and yes it is fairly early but I like to be drawn into hype even though it ruins most other games for me because they can't hold up to a game that hasn't been released yet but already idealized in my mind.

lol yea well republic and empire is abit different, i probably should of said republic at the moment has smugglers, troopers and some form of jedi while the sith has bounty hunters and sith warriors

Force Lightning
ALWAYS meant to be for sith and ith only.
Force lightning is overpowered and brutal.
Plus I hate established order in video games, being the OP aggressor is always better, and Jedi are gay.

My problem is this:
The Jedi are all about repressing emotions, which I am totally in favor of. But they are also all about being nice and shit, which I am very against.
The Sith are all about murder and whatnot, and I can support that. A lot. But they're all "USE YOUR HATE!" which is kind of hard when you don't have any.

But probably the Empire anyway.
Because black is cool.

this is the old sith empire guy, it came from before the old republic era and its on the rise. if your a real nerd you'd have known the sith empire came about when the first jedi exiles landed on korriban and interbred with the sith people around 7000 bby then rose and fell by about 5,000 bby, when TOR is set around 3500bby, im not wrong at all
