So, I must vent my rage.

I just found out, via text I may add, that my girlfriend cannot make it to the plans that we had for Valentines day. Its was nothing big, but just a group date with our best friends and their dates. Unfortunately, she has to cancel, because her parents want to go out to dinner with her and her brother.

So, either I go as the fifth wheel, and not be able to troll around for some chicks because her friend is there, and would be pointless anyways because its couples day). And now I feel all depressed and bummed out. Especially because my friend is going to be pissy because I have to cancel on them. So yea, plans shot, and I have to spend Vday on my lonesome. I guess I still have Zoidberg, but then again, we all still have Zoidberg

I am a sad banana

So, Escapees; What was your worst plan ruining experience?

My worst plan ruining experience came when I was supposed to go out for chipotle with my friends... but we didn't, oh well.

Yeah, that's pretty weak compared to yours.

Wait, is Valentines day today? Huh...

OT: Go along and try and have a nice conversation?

Worst planned experience... Just about everything I've ever planned ever... I should stop planning.

My worst plan ruining experience? I was going to be hanging out with the girl I like, a friend of mine, and his girlfriend. They all called, one after the other, to say that they couldn't come. Instead of watching a movie with three of the coolest people I know, I spent the weekend at home playing video games. So that was fun.

Umm....When I got Assasin's Creed 2 and was all stoked to play it, then my friends show up and tell me I have to go to work because one of them "got sick"......I was about to call in sick, so I guess, Karma?.....
Probably not the worst, but anything getting in the way of my play time is an instant enemy.

So you're dateless on Valentines day, at least you have... Bananas.

My worst incedent of attempted planning was my plan of using teamwork in MW2.
You can guess how well that went

I'm sort of thinking "rage" to some degree.
Regardless of thoughts about Valentine's Day, if you'd pre-arranged this with her then I think it's incredibly rude of her parents to force her to go to dinner with them. Valentine's Day happens once a year, whereas she has ~364 other days a year for her to go to dinner with them. They (I presume) know you two are together and should respect that you two want to spend the day together (or do something special).
It doesn't matter if you're arsing around in a park with other couples or having a romantic meal in a restaurant, it's a "special" day and surely her parents should respect that. Of course it's probably too late to do anything about it, but I do sympathise. But you never know, if you rearrange to spend some time together (your own belated Valentine's Day as it were) then it may work out for the better.

Note: Yay, 20th valentine's day alone. I think... Ah well :D

My best friend stole my woman.
And then my other best friend started dating someone very loose. (Nothing wrong with that)
And then all his ex-girlfriends started being witches (you know how I mean) to him and all of his friends because of it. (Including me.)
And I discovered one of them is completely and irrevocably in love with me.

And she looks like a cow.

And this all happened on the same day a few weeks ago.

EDIT: And I have to play a gig with a crappy drummer. Again.

EDIT2: One is the loneliest number, it's the loneliest number you'll ever do. Two can be as bad as one, it's the loneliest number since the number one.

LAN party. I called up 10 friends, invited them to a LAN party, and on the day of the LAN party they call cancelled because the Orange Box was released.

God dammit...

Well, my friend and I were going to smash a boombox, but he called me and cancelled.

He then rescheduled for the following day.

I think if you make plans then you shouldn't cancel at the last minute...and why do her parents need to have a dinner with their children on Valentines Day? My parents wouldn't, it's their time. Yeah, I would be a raging lunatic too if that happened.
