Okay so I posted a poll a few weeks ago when the last episode of Scrubs aired about what people thought. Now it is a FACT that Scrubs is coming back for a 9TH season and my question is WHY?!? I love Scrubs but its ended too many times. Seriously, They announced season 7 as the "Scrubs Finale" then they moved channels and made season 8 where the last episode was titled "My Finale" and ended perfectly (IMO) but now they are making season 9!!! What the fuck? Another thing, Its still gonna be called Scrubs but JD and Elliot are only gonna be on it for 6 episodes and Carla isnt even gonna be on it ..... So ..... How is this gonna work? Did Turk and Carla get divorced? Are they gonna explain anything? Seriously, How can they think people will still watch this? Ratings have been dropping every season since 3 and without JD there is no way it will last. So I ask u, Do u think Scrubs needs to die?

JD they could survive without, but the others....no way. Too many regulars go and it'll lose it's charm.
Could we really stomach Dr.Cox doing his Alpha Male schtick every episode? *shudder*

JD could survive, but barely, without Turk, Doctor Cox, Elliot etc, he would just be a shallow version of his old self.

I can't believe they're making another season... do you have a source on this? It sounds like an internet hoax.

They couldn't have the show without JD, JD narrates the show, its about him. That's like having House M.D. without Hugh Laurie.

Anyone here remember (or even know) the final season of the Channel 4 program Teachers?

With reference to Scrubs it lost its charm when it started looking like some weird slick soap opera, you know, glowing skin as if they were all wearing too much make up, the way it seemed like everything was just too clean?

After OP's post, I'm going to watch it purely to see how the writers are going to deal with the mess they're in.

Yeah, that went to shite when it lost Lincoln (and his fit policewoman). But that had only had two series before he fucked off. Scrubs has been going a lot longer and the supporting characters are more familiar.

I know I know. But look at it. Compare the early series to the ones now, everything just has this synthetic glow to it, which to me removes a lot of the charm of the thing.

If they continue it, it'll just ruin my fond memories of the show.

I didn't really care much for the new interns either.

Scrubs would have been better if they'd killed off JD in a freak pastry accident somewhere around the fourth season. After that he started getting incredibly annoying...

If it werent for the poll options bieng so poorly spelt that I don't wish my views to be interpreted in such a way, I would have voted. However I feel scrubs is a good show , if they want to keep it going good on'em as long as they don't turn it into a pile of crap it's fine by me.

JD is the main character, you shouldn't remove the main character
He was obnoxious and annoying and really the only fun times with him were when he was being harassed by Dr. Cox or the Janitor. Plus the actor that plays him is a total douche.

The show would be decent if the rest of the characters stayed- they could have someone else narrate if needed.
I've never heard of Zach Braff being called a "douche" before. What would lead you to believe this?

i dont think they should do it without JD, or at all really. I loved Scrubs, but they ran out of idea's, like every show does and will :p
my only regret is never getting to know the Janitors real name, but that was one of the reasons he was my fav character XD
