Poll: Shoes.

This morning I was washing my car, and I don't know about you guys, but around here it's pretty damn hot. As I moved back and forth on the asphalt, I realized how much my feet hurt, as I wasn't wearing shoes.

The point of this brief and stupid little story is this - Do you like to wear shoes or not? I, personally, only wear shoes when in the woods or when mowing my lawn.

Well, I always wear shoes outside, unless I'm just dashing for something in the garden and can't be arsed to fetch them. Otherwise, I wear socks indoors.

I only wear shoes when I leave my property, the first thing I do when I get home are taking off my shoes and socks.

I tend to only wear shoes if I'm going outside (i.e. away from my home or working in the garden or garage, not just popping outside to put the bins out or get the milk), or if I'm climbing the loft ladder (which is really painful to do barefoot), otherwise I'm shoeless most of the time.

I don't like to wear shoes in the house since all my shoes are big and heavy and they unnecessarily scuff up the carpets.

I'm also very conscientious of removing my shoes when visiting someone else's home, I'll almost always ask whether they would like me to remove my shoes before I cross the threshold.

I don't like wearing just socks or slippers either, as the lack of grip has led to more stubbed toes and grazed shins (from slipping on the stairs) than any kind of 'protection' they offer, plus I like to let my feat breath.

For me, shoes are "foot armour" rather than clothing, so I'll only wear them if my feet need protection.

im gellin most of the time so i love to wear my shoes.

sandals are reserved for special occasions cause my feet get nasty quick so keepin them clean is a chore.

if im going outside breifly, though, i will only wear socks or be in my bare feet, no need to take the time to put on my shoes to take out the garbage or pick up a package.

My feet always feel uncomfortable and cramped in shoes so I like to go barefoot whenever possible.

I wear shoes only outside the house and when I'm not driving. I'm usually in flip-flops or slip-on flats, so I can kick 'em off when driving.

When out and about? There are always shoes on my feet. When I get home though taking them off is one of the very first things I do, followed directly by putting on a pair of slippers instead.

I never take my socks off unless I'm going to bed though!
