You have till february 28 to fight for your right to play games like hitman 2 , left for dead 2, aliens vs predator (although i think this may have been re-classified) and to play unedited versions of games like grand theft auto or even liesure suit larry.

While I feel that mature games that are banned in Australia shouldn't be played by those under the age of 18, and can make some violent impressions on anyone REGARDLESS of age, I think that a total ban is way over the top and does more harm than it does good.

I definitely think so, much like most of the people that commented, I do feel bad for my gaming brethren in Australia even though I am here in the sates and far away from Michael Atkinson's power, but If we do not act to stop tyranny, It will spread. This my fellow gamers is a call to arm or soon Atkinson and his kind will have complete control over what we play, no matter where we are. This plague of misunderstanding and stupidity shall spread. Let them get the games too. Banning games because there's no age rating for it is pretty lame. If they want to ban games because they're too violent as we do sometimes in countries that actually have a 18+ rating for games it's for a better reason than that we don't have age ratings for gamers older than 15 or 16. I am not Australian, but it's sad thinking about the things they miss out on.
