This may be a no brainer for 99% of you or something, but whatever. I'm asking.
I have an xbox 360 arcade console and a bit more than enough money to get the new console. The one i have works, but my Fallout games are becoming gradually more twitchy and slow, and I just played The Force Unleashed 2(ya it isn't great), and it is now lagging a bit so I can't say it's just Fallout being its normally buggy self.
One other theory is that my xbox could be overheating a little. The place where I have it gets dusty pretty fast (I'm aware that's quite bad) but I have an Intercooler thingy on the back of it, and the air coming out is cool enough when I use it. But am I correct to assume that it could already be a slightly messed up by dust or previous heating?
So I'm wondering if its a good idea to buy the new console and get the several perks with that. My internet connection is already unstable in my room with the adapter so the built in wi-fi probably wouldn't improve connection strength. I also doubt I play enough games or download enough stuff for the extra memory to be an awesome deal. I am interested in the better heating and RROD improvement though, but my xbox is functioning for the time being.
In addition to all this freaking info, if I get the new console, I would like to sell my 360 to a friend who only has an Xbox, not 360, so he can play, and give my adapter to my other friend who needs it so we can play Live.
......Well that's a fair amount of reading. Thanks to anyone at all who actually reads it.
I'd really love some opinions.
