Poll: Should they make a Punk Band/Hardcore Hero?

I love punk rock, especially hardcore. I also like and play Rock Band and Guitar Hero, so I thought it would be awesome to make a Punk version of Rock Band or Guitar Hero, with classics like The Ramones, Social Distortion, The Clash, hardcore like Rise Against and Billy Talent, and pop-punk would be cool too like Sum 41 and The Offspring.
Thoughts?

I'd love that idea, but I don't play Guitar Hero or Rock Band, since I lack a PS3 and an Xbox. I have to stick to audiosurf. But it would be great for me if someone else had it.

I don't see why not, they made a DJ hero.
And seeing as I'm not an Aerosmith/Van Halen fan, I refuse to buy any more of the main line of Guitar Hero because they'll just milk it forever, and even as a metalhead I'm sick of metal in the series and will definitely not get Metallica:

I think a Punk/Hardcore/Ska guitar hero would actually be pretty good and I might actually consider buying that. I think a Techno series would be nice too (Trance Hero, House Hero, Happy Hardcore Hero).

Every time they release a game, it's basically an expansion pack with a new guitar or drum set. I love GH (and I'd probably like RB) but I haven't had any urge to go get GH 5 or any of the band oriented games.

Trust me there is a lot more out there better than Hatebreed.

I wonder if they did do a Hardcore Hero if they would make an effort to add many obscure or up and coming bands. Having some Your Demise would be really good

A game for every genre is a horrific idea. It would just encourage more franchise milking. And even so, they could just add the songs into the new games via DLC or have them there to begin with.

Hell no, Punk is boring enough to play live on a real guitar, let alone on a plastic thing at home. Oh the repetition...

Same as I said in the Metal Guitar Hero/Rock Band thing, with an addendum:
A: No, not a fully-fledged game, maybe a large DLC pack
B: Most of the bands you list exist in the game already. If you don't want to play the emo stuff then don't play the emo stuff.

I wouldn't buy it even if it was good. I personally don't like music related games. Doesn't mean I dislike guitar hero. Just don't feel like buying anything similar or relating to it
