Ive put some of the more popular obvious ones in the poll, but you should be able to come up with some more.

My main one thats not in the poll is captain jack sparrow, being from essex, I see a a million and one russell brand wannabes getting drunk round the corner from my house and acting like a flamboyant pirate every saturday. So why jack is a legendary comedy character escapes me.

Nostalgia Critic, and generally most of the humor on any of the videos from That Guy with Glasses, though my problem is mostly with the delivery.

For one, and I'll probably take a lot of flak for this, I think that Airplane is painfully unfunny and absolutely moronic (and not in a good way).
I haven't been able to watch it all the way through, but the bits and pieces of it that I've seen were just a bunch of random sight gags and simple-minded jokes barely strung together. It was like the writers went for more quantity than quality.
Some people might like that approach to comedies but I don't. I'd rather see a movie with only ten jokes that were really funny than see a movie with a thousand jokes and only half to a quarter of them are funny.

On the Internet, Jim Sterling. Seriously. Maybe it's just the order in which I was introduced to him, but he just comes across to me as an overblown imitation of what others do more originally and better.

For movies, Napoleon Dynamite. Striaght up dumb is not funny, especially when it comes across as just laughing at others who clearly don't seem to be in on the joke.

On TV, Big Bang Theory and 2 and a Half Men. I generally have little love for the sitcom format, but these two just confuse me for why anyone at all finds them funny.

Agreed, I think he's so unfunny, and some of the others I've watched are just as bad.

OT: The Hangover films. People were raving about it like it was the Monty Python of our time. I watched it and thought it was shit. Overused and easy humour, predictable and playing too much on stereotypes for laughs. It seemed more like a film for easily amused and/or simple adults.

Family guy has completely plummeted in my opinion now as well. American dad fo lyf.

Any comedy with Sacha Boren Cohen. "OOOH! Look at me I'm gay stereotype! OOOH! Look at me I'm Arabic stereotype! OOOH! Look at me I'm uneducated Post-Soviet stereotype! Isn't it funny?!" No it's not! And shut up!

Family Guy, yup I am one of the people that MovieBob was referring to from his latest The Big Picture. Sure I will admit a few times it can be funny but I find it poor that they rely on that humour as its infrastrature (most of the episode length is on the cut away gag and other funnies which leave to the plot and final part rush).

So... Did you start hating him before or after you saw Borat? Did you not like him during his Ali G days?

I was kinda neutral to Ali G, mainly because I simply wasn't aware what... well, what the hell Ali G was. For me he was just some random guy that appeared sometimes on MTV that I skipped. So yeah, you can say that I started hating him after Borat. If Borat wasn't related to Kazakhstan I would've never find out about him probably.

I figured as much. Granted, Even here in the US, I don't think was a terribly big name until Borat came out. Haven't watched any of his stuff except borat (which I saw in middle school), so I can't exactly say whether or not I like him.

Definitely big bang theory, it just isn't funny. The jokes are stupid frankly, they are basically making fun of geeks for the entire show. Boring.

Idk, someone enlighten me please.

Of those choices, Big Bang Theory. Every "joke" is like
"Have you ever read spider man issue 126?"
*canned laughter*
"I was far more of a DC fan at that stage of my life."
*canned laughter*
"and what a sad life it was"
*thunderous canned laughter and applause*
Though I don't know anyone who thinks it's hilarious or anything. Most people who don't hate it consider it watchable but not amazing.

Family Guy is pretty bad, especially now. I think that's mostly widely accepted. I will say that since it throws 100 out of context jokes at the audience per episode, at least a few of them are bound to connect. What I think most people would disagree with me on about Family Guy is that I think that Stewie is and always has been the absolute least funny component of that show.

I'll probably get some flack for this, Glados yes THE Glados that everyone thinks is the best comedian evar! Some of the lines were chuckle worthy at best, I never felt like I should be laughing out loud. While I haven't played Portal 2 yet, from what I saw of Wheatley, it was miles ahead of Glados in terms of funniness.

I voted Family Guy, I used to like it and all, but from what I've heard of the new episodes, I'm glad I stopped watching around 2008 or so.

I always saw Borat as more of a vehicle of exposing western ignorance (as well as satirizing the perception of the middle east and the former Soviet Union) rather than actually being what he perceives as the true nature of Kazakhstan and its people.

I really strongly dislike Family Guy. The jokes are played out, and the characters are boring. The Big Bang Theory is anther show I dislike, mainly because I feel that the characters only represent the worst traits that are evident in our sub-culture.

How I met your Mother.

It's most certainly not terrible, but the forced drama elements seem to detract heavily from the actual comedic moments.

I'll admit that it can sometimes put a smile on my face or have a heart-warming moment. But it has never been the kind of show that has made me burst into laughter. I can certainly see the appeal of the show as something entertaining, but the actual laughs to be had are few and far between.

This is more of a general gripe I have with comedy shows, but the inclusion of a laugh-track (I think that's what it's called) really annoys me.

For movies I absolutely hate HATE HATE anything with Will Ferrel or Adam Sandler, to the point where I refuse to watch anything with either of them in it.
For TV I can't stand American Dad at all. Maybe I just saw the wrong episodes, but you lose me when your central premise is "HAHAH aren't conservatives/religious people stupid?". Also Rodger is such an ass that to me he was never funny, and just made the show even more unpleasant to watch.
For games it has to be Saints Row 2. It wasn't a bad game, but I found the amount of horrible, evil things you do as part of the story completely canceled out the humor.

It's always sunny in philadelphia. . . . . . God, why is a bunch of narcissists doing a dumb stuff funny? The only joke is they all suffer form the Dunning?Kruger effect.

I absolutely hate Family Guy. My brother watches it all the time and I can't stand it. I have only ever laughed at it twice of the many times that I have seen it due to being in the same room as my brother when he watches it. It is such a terrible show.

I enjoyed the first season of the big bang theory. After that it felt like the guys became the shows punchline rather than characters.
The first hangover was fun. The second was a rip off. The third was an atrocity that made me wish they had just stuck to ripping off the first movie.
Newer Adam Sandler movies I find to be pretty horrible.
I really don't like Seinfeld. His style of comedy routine just doesn't appeal to me so it becomes an annoying break in the show.

I agree completely, I think portal as a whole was overrated to be the best game ever where it was just an alright game in my book. The Glados part I still have trouble finding how everyone thought she was funny, I think I chuckled once the entire game.

As for everything else, just put the name of a comedy show and there's a 99% chance I don't find it funny. I've watched snippets of a few shows like the big bang theory, two and a half men, its always sunny in philadelphia, the office etc etc. and I was just bored to tears with all of them. I just think that most TV comedy is crap =P
