I've been using Firefox for so long, but I'd always like something that bit faster. Loads of people have been pushing me to switch to Chrome, but I also love the customisation of the Fox. My version is perfectly tailored to my needs.

I'm not the kinda guy to whore out to multiple browsers, it's one or the other, what do you lot think I should do?

Please could you give full explanations to your decisions, I'm not looking for mindless fanboy gestures.

Edit: Before anyone else says 'Cognito Mode ftw' or anything of that ilk. Firefox has it's own 'Private Browsing' mode in 'Tools' (or Ctrl+Shift+P).

I'm sorry, but I love Incognito Mode.

EDIT:Let me rephrase..

I like Incognito mode for the fact that the option is right there when you right click on any link.

Easier access for me, so I thought it was nifty.

Nothing special, just more user friendly.

I switched from Firefox to Chrome a while ago, and I will give you the same reason I use for all the 'What browser do you use' threads:

"Incognito mode ftw!"

Edit: damned ninja's. Curse my over thinking...

I choose firefox because i would only have Safari on my computer and that keeps boiling my buttons....and the fox has yet to cock things up for me

Go for chrome it supports extentions now!!!!!
I have a built in dictionary adblock and a youtube quick search already and the speed is great even though i'm saving a bunch of tabs at once.

Although i like firefox too. I still use both.

Edit:Forgot about incognito
You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you

I expect:

People who use firefox will vote firefox.

People who have already switched to chrome will vote chrome.

Applehats and Operadongs and LinuXLols will vote the final option.

Look, if speed is what you want, go chrome. Period.

I like firefox because it is customisable, has nice tabs, I have been using it for years and I like the name.

What is incognito mode?

Firefox works ok for me, but back in the day I use to be all about the Opera.

I'll have to go sometime to see if it is any good or if I was just smoking crack.

Browsing... incognito.

Also known as "don't save my pr0n search results anywhere on the computer" mode.

And its accessed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+N instead of just pressing CTRL+N for a new browser window.

Even IE has a private browsing mode... firefox doesn't? I'm shocked.

I think it means you can't be traced when you use it. I have google chrome as well, and I like it a lot. But I still haven't used all the features yet

Hey it's a common feature.
Firefox has private browsing, you know. So does IE.

Shhhhh!

... Yea, but do those browsers have a fancy picture of a guy in a trenchcoat and hat in the top left corner when you go 'incognito'? Do they? Huh!?

I rest my case...

Incognito mode (pushing ctrl+shift+N) opens a new browser window that doesn't save your history. ;)

Chrome ftw. I love how speedy and minimalist it is. When I'm forced to use IE or Firefox on another computer, it just looks so bulky! The addon features are great, and I totally abuse the fact that the address bar is also a search box.

Firefox does, if it doesn't could easily make a tiny addon so that it does.

Incognito Mode is where it doesnt save your history and once you stop Incognito Mode it goes back to whatever tabs you were on before.. It gets rid of the problem of having to clear your history so your mommy doesnt find the porn you just looked at and fapped to.. But FireFox has the exact same thing its called "Private Browsing" I have always been a firefox user.. Its just so perfect! I have never come across a problem with firefox.. It has crashed once or twice.. For no reason but when i boot it up again it still has all my history and gives me the option to restore my tabs.. So not like it did anything wrong.. + I can custamize the way it looks to the way I want it! Like right now i have a God Of War Theme and thinking about switching to something else come tomorrow!

Since Chrome is still pretty new (especially on Mac), Firefox still has more features and nice little tweaks to the system. Chrome is very similar, but without some of the random little things that make Firefox as smooth as it is. But it is still a very good browser, and similar enough to be instantly familiar. The thing that sold me on Chrome? The fact that 10 tabs in Chrome takes about a fourth of the RAM that a single tab in Firefox does. Yeah. I use Chrome.

... Stop ruining my point!

Ahem... In any case, it's convenient and useful, so I use it. The minimalistic task bar is much more to my liking too, so that's just about all of my reasoning...
