Poll: So who's getting the other FF13 game you know the Versus one

I just did another FF13 thread but this one is about the other version called 'Versus'

While i don't think i'll get the other one i might get this one.

the two plots are intertwined, buy both or fail to understand the plot of either.

I read somewhere that once not going to happen and both are completely diffrent except the universe they are in.

Have they changed there minds?

im not quite sure what the difference is but il buy the first one that comes out and if i really like it il buy the other one too i guess.

I'm a maybe, as in I may just pass on both of them.

I have good reasoning behind it, mainly because I have this sinking feeling that it's going to be like FF7 was for me. A game which tons of other final fantasy fans seem to lime but I just don't get.

That said I WILL give it some thought, because it MAY be worthwhile.

NO NO. FF13 and 13 versus have almost nothing to do with each other. DO NOT LET 13 COLOR YOUR PERCEPTIONS.

Nah in all seriousness; I'm not really sure why it's necessary to package two versions of the same game, why doesn't Square use the extra time and money to re-release FFVII?

I've never really liked JRPGs. I've always preferred RPGs like Mass Effect, Oblivion and Fallout 3.

Don't really know enough about it, since the trailers don't really say anything useful. Has there even been any gameplay footage released yet?

Yes! This is the one I'm most excited for.

FF13 is, apparently, as linear as a piece of string (few towns, minimal NPC interaction) with dull combat. No idea about the story quality though.

13 Versus is promised to have, among many other things, real airships again.

Also the story is apparently the fucking Cold War.

Promises: Killing the gaming industry, one lie after another.

Why make two games? Doesn't that seem a bit stupid? Also, if they were smart, why not just release Versus like a year after 13? That would make them more money.
