Poll: Sony ericsson or Blackberry?

Ok I'm getting a new phone and can't decide between the Sony Ericsson xperia x10 mini or the BlackBerry Curve 8520
Please help me!!!

Sony Ericssons are unreliable. They turn themselves off a lot. I've had problems with mine. I recommend blackberry as that's the only other option but I have a Nokia E71 which is a qwerty phone and it's brilliant. No complaints.

Blackberry: Confusing, Slow, Reliable, Solid, Atrocious store.
Sony: No keyboard, Tiny, Fragile, Powerful, Android (Good and Bad)

It really depends on what you want it for.

I'd recommend looking at the HTCs as well.

But don't get an iPhone. It took less than a minute to annoy me.

I say Sony Ericsson because I have a ridiculous bias against BlackBerrys. It's completely ungrounded and I don't fully understand the bias myself, I just really don't like them.

I have to agree here.

However, if I had to choose between those two it'd have been Blackberry.

As much as I hate the curve, I would choose this over any sony phone. I had the k800i and had to send it back 4 times due to it breaking for no apparent reason. However, it is not just sony phones that I have been let down by; I have been through more sony consoles than pairs of shoes and sony TVs are the devil's work. Sorry, I really don't like sony.
Also, never go with a touchscreen, but I havn't had a good record with those either.

Sorry theres not much of a choice but these are the only 2 in my price range that i like. i think im likely to get the blackberry just because ive had trouble with sonys before.
