Poll: Star Wars Expanded Universe gone too far?

Is it just me or has the Star Wars Expanded Universe expanded just a little too much? I stopped keeping up with Star Wars after the peace treaty between the Empire and the New Republic and yesterday I was perusing the Star Wars Wiki and reading some of the stuff that's come lately and I was thinking "WTF? How does that make sense?" every other minute. It's like I barely recognized it as Star Wars.

I realize I could be called a 'fossiled fan' for thinking this and objectively I guess it's kinda true, but is anyone else thinking this?

Anything that's not the original trilogy is non-canon in my eyes.

A lot of people still read a lot of the EU. I've read several books and have enjoyed most of them,but I'm not gonna go as far as comic books that tell what happens to Luke's descendant 100 years in the future. People still enjoy them, not everyone, but enough people.
