Poll: Star Wars: Republic Commando

Republic Commando. A pretty good came with a terrible multiplayer. Boasted about it's squad commands. I know that this was priority for me back when it was just released, but I don't really know anybody else who got it. Did you get it, and did you enjoy it? What did you like the most, and what did you like the least?

This is actually one of the games I still replay every now and then because I really enjoyed it. I never played the multiplayer, I just couldn't care less about that in games, but the story mode was excellent concerning graphics, gameplay and atmosphere, right down to the interactions between your squad mates. Oh yes, and anyone who says 07's entrance in the first mission isn't awesome is a liar.

I liked it. I found the characters like able, I liked the HUD, and the squad commands worked better than I could remember in any other games that boast about their squad commands.

That game was awesome. Too bad it ended with a cliffhanger and there's no sequel in sight. ;_;

No sequal in sight, but LucasArts is not above squeezing money out of obscure titles like this. A sequal may happen at some point, and I, for one, will pre-order it.

I still remember when one of those beastly wookies kicked a droid like 20 feet into a wall. This game was awesome. I would still play it if some of my old xbox games were not stolen by nimphs.

It was a good FPS for its time, the tactical options were well designed and fun to use and the overall game was challenging. It also gets extra points for being a Star Wars game without any major Jedi characters.

I recently got it in one of those 5 in 1 game packs with KOTOR, Empire at War, Battlefront and Jedi Knight II for £15. I hadn't bothered with it up til now, but given all the positive comments I think I might give it a go.

Eh, I thought that it was a competent shooter that could have been a lot better if they had done more with the squad tactics they touted so much. It also could have been longer and had it's own score as opposed to cannibalizing the movie's.
