Imagine the following scenario: Your loving parents, aren't as into eachother as they were XX number of years ago and they get a divorce. Atleast one of them remarries and your mom/dads new spouse has a kid of thier own. You meet your new step sibling and immidiately find that your attracted to this new found family member

My question to my fellow escapists is: Would you ever contemplate having sex with your step brother/sister(if you had one), if he/she was willing. And if you answer yes how do you think your parents would respond. If no explain why not

EDIT: personally I would and to counteract any akwardness I'd treat the situation like my girlfriend just moved in my house(or like I moved into hers)

Probably yes but it would still be akward even if they weren't blood related. I'd still consider them a sister so I'd be uncomfortable atleast until things got "Hot" then I most likely would stop caring.

Sex, no. But relationships have been had before in that situation: I would consider dating her if I didn't already have a girlfriend, and assuming she agreed and my parents were okay with it. But I wouldn't just have sex with her for the heck of it: that's screwed up.

You're related by law and nothing else. I see no reason why this would be a problem.

Now if it was a cousin or other blood relative, there'd be tons of issues.

I think we just need to revive the old "incest" thread.

OT: If they were hot, not a complete *****, and I actually liked them in that way. You know, like how I deal with everyone else? I don't really get the issue here....why is incest still controversial?
I think my parents, being hardcore Catholics, and slightly retarded, may or may not kill me. I now I wouldn't be living with them anymore if I hadn't already left.

honestly? what's with all the incest polls? everyone's too cooped up in winter go outside and get some fresh air...cleanse your mind...
but really of course i would if i had feelings for her that were reciprocated by her.

How if the kid comes from an entirely different family?... Its only half-siblings that share blood via one parent.
Its like if my mum got with my fiance's dad (well, if he didn't currently have a girlfriend), it would still be aloud for me and him to be together and even if his dad and my mum got married. I am not related to them and he isn't related to me, not by blood. Only by the symbol of marrige.

Too awkward, man. Seriously?

You're not blood, yeah, but you probably either live under the same roof or see each other a lot. What if the relationship goes south (no pun intended)?

This still borders on sick but it warms my heart to know that at least one thing is a constant. Boys want to fuck anything that moves and a few things that don't.

Seriously back in the stone age when I was in school that and getting fucked up was all we talked about, usually doing both together.

In the scenario they don't live together and did not grow up together. There are not related. So the only problems are social ones. Growing up together has more to do with the incest stigma then actually being related. People who where adopted have been known to find their siblings attractive when they are reunited with them, and not children in the adopted family. Not that incest is right, I am just saying it has more to do with who you grew up with.
